A list of five books to inspire you on your life journey

I love to read. Anything from the classic novels, philosophy and even sporting biographies, you have my attention. It is often said that 'readers are leaders', so here's a selection of my all-time recommendations of books that will help grow and inspire you.
Death of Ivan Ilyich Leo Tolstoy
A great insight into life, death and what is most important in-between. Masterfully written by one of the greatest Russian writers of all time, this is a short but powerful read!
To Kill a Mockingbird Harper Lee
A wonderfully written account of integrity, standing up for what you believe in and staying true to your values.
Anne Frank, Diary of a Young Girl
The real life diary kept by Anne Frank while she was in hiding for two years with her family during the Nazi occupation of Holland. Compelling, enlightening and beautifully written (especially considering Frank was 13 years old when she wrote it!), this is a must read.
Brave New World Aldous Huxley
An interesting and eerie critique of modern day life. This was written nearly 100 years ago as a satirical take on the future, and yet is creepily reflective of the world we live in today!
David Copperfield Charles Dickens
A coming of age novel that shares the story of David, who navigates a difficult upbringing to become a well-mannered adult. This is the book Dickens himself saw as his favourite.
